Product Description
Laminated glass, also known as interlayer glass, is a composite glass product made by bonding two or more pieces of glass together in a dust-free laminating room. Between the pieces of glass, there is one or more layers of strong and tough PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) interlayer film. After being preheated by a rolling press, it undergoes special high-temperature pre-pressing and high-temperature high-pressure processing. This process makes the glass and the interlayer film permanently bonded together.
The PVB film of laminated glass has excellent adhesion. Once the laminated glass is impacted, even if it breaks, the fragments will firmly adhere to the film, avoiding the fragments falling and causing harm to people. It also prevents injuries from sharp objects and penetration accidents caused by falling fragments. Laminated glass has excellent seismic and anti-intrusion capabilities. The PVB film in the middle can withstand continuous attacks from tools such as hammers and axe knives, and can also resist bullet penetration for a considerable period of time, providing a high level of safety protection.
