Horn secures Carib Glassworks furnace contract

Carib Glassworks Limited (CGL) has contracted Horn Glass Industries for the cold repair of its furnace No. 3.

CGL produces both standard and custom-made containers in three colours – flint, green and amber.

Carib Glassworks is located in Trinidad and Tobago and operates furnace No. 3 as a 160 tpd recuperative furnace.

The furnace will be equipped with latest measurement and control technology as well as a diesel oil stand-by heating system from Horn.

Moreover, the furnace design is prepared for a later installation of a Horn e-Fusion Power Boosting System to increase the pull up to 200 tpd.

After supply, the furnace is considered to be repaired under HORN´s supervision in Q1 2026.
